\\Who am I?

I’m a very honest and straightforward person. I can be loud and confident in the right environment, but I also have a quieter, more reserved side depending on the situation. I’ve got a dry sense of humour, I think I’m funny, even if not everyone agrees haha. I love being outdoors, especially tree climbing, hunting, and spending time out in the bush. That’s where I feel most at home I'm grounded, focused, and genuinely myself.

I run Your Local Tree Guy, an arboricultural tree services business in Brisbane. I started it because I wanted to build something of my own and create a business that does things properly. Quality work, good people, strong systems, and a culture where people actually enjoy coming to work. For me, it’s become bigger than just cutting trees. I want to build a company that gives people opportunities, develops great arborists and leaders, looks after its clients, and is profitable and sustainable enough to keep growing. Ultimately, I’m trying to build something I’m proud of. A business that doesn’t rely entirely on me, has a great reputation, and creates a good future for the people who are part of it.
