\\Who am I?

Hey, I'm Danielle, but you can call me Dani, Dan, Tirosh, whatever you like really. I've been obsessed with building businesses for as long as I can remember. I started my first one at 24, made every mistake in the book, and honestly loved every second of learning what not to do. These days I work across aged care, government, and disability support spaces, growing a company that's expanding nationwide right now alongside some really incredible people. I'm a visionary with a mindset that won't let me quit. I've been told before that the idea's been done, that it won't work, that it's impossible, and every other variation you can think of. Proving the haters wrong is one of my favourite things in life. I love building things from the ground up, I live for the hustle, and there's nothing better than being told something can't be done so I can go and do it anyway. What actually gets me out of bed is watching people succeed, especially those who haven't always had someone in their corner. I'm a talker (you've been warned), a lifelong people-collector, and I could listen to someone's story for hours. I love learning what makes people tick and where they've been. Off the clock: I love to cook, I'm ridiculously close with my family, and I'm the most organised/clean person you'll probably ever meet. Some call it OCD. I call it a personality trait I'm very proud of. The last three years have been full throttle, and this past year in particular has grown me as much personally as professionally. So, this trip is a big deal for me. It's the first one I've taken since starting my business, and I'll admit I'm a little nervous to step away from my team, but I'm so excited to be here for it. I'm here for the high-energy, good-vibe humans, the late-night conversations, and the kind of connections that outlast the retreat. So, here's me saying hi first. I run a service-based business that started in the disability space in Victoria and has since grown into something much bigger. We're expanding nationwide and broadening what we offer, moving into aged care and other government services, alongside a whole heap of partnerships and collaborations with some brilliant people. My latest project is one I'm really proud of. I've connected with some incredible people, and together we're creating real employment opportunities for people living with disability, and for people who've had a harder start than most. Some have come through domestic violence or abuse, some from circumstances most of us will never have to imagine. I'm lucky enough to have an amazing team (it wasn't always that way), and for the first time in a long time I've been able to take a breath and throw myself back into the growth and strategy side of things, which is where I love to be. As for my why, I get such a buzz from watching people grow and succeed. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone step into their confidence and do the very thing you knew all along they were capable of. I've still got so much learning to do myself, as a woman in business and on a personal level, and the best way I know how is to talk to people, understand their why, spot where the gaps are, and support them through. If I can help someone shortcut a mistake I made, or believe in themselves a little sooner, that's the whole game for me. And it doesn't stop with what I'm doing right now. There are so many other exciting new ventures I'm already exploring.
